 Welcome to My Tiny Closet,


Have we met?  Probably not.  But if you love fashion (obsessively so), have stacks of style books, magazines, and catalogues all over your apartment and spend an unhealthy amount of time reading up on fashion news and blogs then... we already pretty much know each other, don't we?  At least the important stuff anyway.  Important stuff being fashion.


And as much as I am a minimalist, I only adore the fine stuff, baby.  But perhaps like you, not all of my clothes are...fine.  And also perhaps like you, I want to look great every day but... don't.  I realized that with my obsession with fashion and my modest yet eclectic collection of clothing, I should do something about these stacks of books and mags besides letting them fill my apartment and my head with day dreams.  And my friends ask me if I've heard of recycling and I'm like no way, I gotta keep this insert magazine title here to remember that I love that Thakoon coat on page 36!  Well this blog is doing something about it.

I decided to chronicle my adventures and experiments with my Tiny Closet and you'll see as I soon did that a small closet is really quite magical.  Kinda like Mary Poppins's doctor bag where she reaches into it and takes out a floor lamp?  Yeah, that's my closet.

  9. Love how you summed it all up. You are doing a great job pulling out outfits from that tiny closet. Sometimes I find myself trying to expand because I "don't have any clothes" in my closet and end up overwhelmed (kind of like when your mom tells you your eyes are too big for your stomach) so a tiny closet forces you to be creative! Love it.
